Yeah, it's official, I'm going back to classes. First day will be on Monday^^
Unfortunately, it's mean that I will not have Internet - or even a computer - for a few days, as my eldest brother is still working on it. So, for anyone who know me, don't be alarmed if I'm not online 'til at least thursday.

Well, recently, I needed something to cheer me up, and then, I found these amusing little comics.
I just though I'll share the laugh:

Happy birthday,
I don't know if you have already received my package, but all the same, I've a little something else for you. Enjoy!
Sorry for all the mistake you'll probably find...

We should have know sooner or later, those little punks would try something like that.
What, exactly? Setting our edge on fire.
We live next door to a middle school, and some of the students found it amusing some years ago to set fire to some of their homeworks and stick them in our hedge. A hedge of thujas, I will add.
Results: at least ten meters of vegetation burned.
Some of our neighbors suffered from the same thing less than two years ago.
And today, some of those little ******** tried again. What's so amusing in trying to destroy someone else's properties?
Fortunately:
1) they didn't manage to stick them in the edge this time before the papers totally burned
2) my parents heard them and went to stop them.
Now, my father is calling the school for disciplinary measures, and my mother want to call the cops. Personnaly, I think I will side with her. I'm not someone violent, but right now, I want to kick someone's *****.
Enough is enough!
By the way, classes only started on the 2nd; at this rate, the entire block is going to burn before the end of the year...

I've managed to get Animated Prowl!!!
I was really lucky; I was screening through a few website to see what toys were sold in France, and on one of them, what do I see? Transformers toys for less than 10€ (more or less 15$).
I went to see and among the few toys offered (most of them Blackarachnia), I've seen him!
Ok, so I had some difficulties in making him go into Robot mode, but in the end, I've managed.
So Ani!Prowl is now keeping company to Ani!Blackarachnia, one step ahead of Classic/Universe Starscream, Hound and Brawn.
It's trully turning into a good day...

I passed my driving licence today, but I will not know the result before Saturday at the very least. I hoope I will get it, but I'm not too sure... It was far from perfect...
And I'm still waiting for the results of the TOEIC. Normally, I should have a good score.
Well, wait and see.
In other news, I've got answers from differents schools about my studies for next years. However, I couldn't go to an interview today since I have the driving test. I hope they will give me another date, but I'm not too sure about that. If not, it wouldn't be too bad, for I must go to another school next week for two separate interviews. With any luck, I will be taken.
Just wish me good luck.

Just when things are looking fine, you just ran into problems: I've almost killed my mother's flowers - I forgot to open the veranda yestarday and give them water; and with the sun, the heat can go over 50°C in this room; the poor plants didn't stand a chance- , but hopefully, most of them should survive.

Special day for me; after being depressive for months (although with the medicamentations, I got better), I'm finally starting to feel fine again.
My mother says that 'I turned back into a child.'
My sister says 'For once, she [I] looked happy.'
And I'm truly happy, for right now there is a fair in town, and for once, I managed to go. At twenty, going on twenty one years old, it's the first time my sister and I are allowed to go... with our father tailing along of course, but it was nice (cuddle lovingly a teddy bear won half an hour ago).
I hope I'll be able to go back once or twice this week.
Then again, tomorrow I'll start working in a bookstore for two weeks. I hope it will be fine; I truly need this in my files if I want to start a librarian school next year...

Today, my father celebrated his 64th birthday.
My youngest brother and his girlfriend came home with a gift for him, a book on Normandie we hadn't be able to find before.
What nobody knew was that Dad already had this book, offered by his cousin a while back. He never told anyone he had it.
Still, he was very happy with his gift.

Thank to my eldest brother, I now have a new computer.
It's strange; I was so used to the old one it feel awkward to use this one. Then again, my previous computer had at least ten years of use, and it was really a wreck.
I'm grateful he took the times to get me something better, but on another hand, I don't like changes...
Well, I'll have to get used to it anyway.

Did you ever had the feeling the universe was out to get you or your family? Sometimes, I swear it's what happening with me and my family.
First, my oldest brother had been fired with stupid motives. Well, stupid... let just say the way the contract is ending, he can't have any money; he's currently searching for a lawyer.
My father, who has the age for retirement, has problems with his superior and his successor, who try to make him leave early. It doesn't sit well with him, nor with my mother. I don't mind them arguing about the best thing to do about that, but God, I wish they weren't so loud...
My mother is so ticked off about that I'm half expecting her to kill someone or have an heart attack. Ok, perhaps I'm going to far, but seriously, it's never good when she's like that, and with her temper, she can do anything.
I still remember an incident which happened a couple of years ago. She had a problem with my sister english teacher - truth to be told, both of them had a grudge for years and someday, well... I don't remember exactly why they were arguing, probably about a punishment that woman gave to the entire classroom, but I know how it ended, even I wasn't around when it happened.
From what witnesses reported (mainly students, my sister who was 11 years old at the time and a teacher or two), they could hear them screaming at each other from the other end of the school. Two other teachers had to separate them before it could become worse.
This time, I just pray she calms down before she does something stupid.
Then there is me, who still doesn't have a job and is still asking herself what she is going to do at this rate. Sure, I started classes only two weeks ago, and I've still time, but lack of answers + distressing atmosphere at home...
*sighs*
2008 is definitely not a good year. Let's hope 2009 will be better...

Take note: if you're a shy, quiet person who is always nervous or stressed in some way, starting your school year and seeing that nothing go according to plan will let you with a nervous breakdown at the end of the first day.
It was happened to me on Monday. I just couldn't stop crying for no reason. Trust to be told, the school kinda pressured us to find a firm to work. On six students, we were only three to find a contract somewhere.
Well, make it two now; I don't have one anymore.
After meeting with two or three people in the firm I should have started working for, they decided I didn't have the right profile to work here. From what they said, they are afraid I will have problems with the manager, who seems to be a very quick-tempered man who tend to lash out at everyone.
I can't say I'm sorry if they thought that, and it's better for them to tell me that now rather than let the contract start and having problem after the first few weeks, but really, I would have liked to hear that sooner. Not on the morning I'd to go back to get the signed paper back, and not hearing the news from my school either.
Life sucks...
So, back to nothing, and I seriously wonder if I chose the right studies...
Problem is, if I quit now or in a few weeks because I can't find anyone interested - and I've already contacted fifteen or so companies, and some of my classmates even more and they still have nothing - what could I do?
